Keep Calm and Chive On

I was asked to make a chive inspired card for a friend. Thechive.com is kinda the Pinterest for men...LOL. It was fun to make and I was pleased with the outcome.
Dies are MFT and paper is SU (Gumball Green, Crumb Cake and Basic Black), stamp set is Carry On - also SU.

I love this week's layout for Mojo Monday - I don't get to participate often, it seems I never have time - but I was able to sit down and create something for this week. The sentiment is from Verve's Hope Blooms set - one of my favourites - but then I do love all things Verve! DSP is BoBunny and cardstock is SU (Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Gumball Green).

I am going to go into serious withdrawal when SU retires Pool Party and Lucky Limeade in June - I absolutely LOVE these two. I cased this card from Deanna Jean's beautiful sample on Pinterest.
