You Had Me At Merlot

Isn't this the funnest card ever? I cased it from one I saw on Pinterest. I can't wait to give it to someone! :)

Tool Time

I finally used up some of the cork paper I bought awhile back, and it was perfect for this card. The dies and stamps are from MFT, I just love all of their stuff. The paper is all SU.

Angel Mail

This is the card I made for my little buddy this week, and I made one for his little sister as well. He's four and she's two. When I embossed the background for her card I had a totally different theme/layout planned....and only realized after I'd assembled that the flower background is weird! I'm hoping that because she's only two, she won't notice or care :)

Habby Birthday

Haha, get it? Well, these aren't exactly birthday cards, they're thank you cards but I couldn't resist. Go Habs Go!

Every Love Story

I made this card for a friend, her and her bf are celebrating their one year dating anniversary - I'm so happy for them! I absolutely love this quote.

Flashback Friday

Today I wanted to post something other than a card. I recently came across this photo on my computer, and was reminded how much I love it. It's of my nephew Tyler and his little sister Sydney - two of my favourite people in the whole wide world.  I'm going to visit them in 18 days! :)

A Very Special Thank You

My family had a lot of people to thank last week after my dad's passing - one of them is my old childhood friend who later ended up being my parent's neighbour. Along with his own family, he often treated my parents like family. He and my dad always loved to talk football, so this is the card I made for him. I was totally winging it but like how it turned out. All card stock is SU (Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Gumball Green).

Halloween Birthday

Why have I waited so long to try ink on my embossing folders? I whipped up this background paper in under two minutes! I love that someone needed a Halloween themed birthday card, I never get to make them and it's one of my favourite times of the year.

Fall in Montreal

I had to go back home to Greenfield Park (just outside of Montreal) unexpectedly. It was a week of chaos but in the midst of it I managed to take a few pics of the beautiful fall foliage. This one is my absolute favourite. You just can't beat fall in Quebec.

Time To Make The Doughnuts!

I finally caved and bought the doughnut stamps & dies from MFT, and I'm so glad I did. I had so much fun making this 'box' of doughnuts. I'm sending this card to my little buddy along with a Tim Hortons gift card so he can treat himself to the real thing.

Moms Rule

I love the colours in this card. I really miss Stampin Up's Gumball Green. Is it wrong to be sad about a retired paper colour? I made a similar card for my own mom a few years ago, this one I made for a customer. Happy Monday!

Happiness is....Ice Cream!

This is the card I made for my little buddy to send next week as I'll be away - I'm trying to get ahead of the game for once! I'm also sending DQ gift cards for him and his sister, because who doesn't love DQ??? The stamps are from CTMH's Ice Cream Dream set, all the paper is SU and I coloured the image with copics. I added crystal effects to the windows but you can't tell in my crappy photo!

It's never easy to lose a pet, if you're like me, than they are your children. I made this for a co-worker as her friend is experiencing this terrible loss. As it turns out, he got his black lab from the same place that we did,, so I've seen him on the facebook page. What a small world. I feel horrible for him as he grieves his BFF (best furry friend).

Future Nurse

I had a lot of fun making this card - I saw the idea on Pinterest. I made the template myself and used punches to finish it off. I sent it to my former chemo angel buddy who is now in nursing school, and just received good grades!

I made this one for my little buddy (via the chemoangels program). I re-read his bio and totally forgot that he loves soccer! I hope he gets a kick out of this card...haha no pun intended. I used all SU paper, as well as their hexagon embossing folder. I used the Papertrey hexagon die to make the ball, and the sentiment is from TAWS.

Gone, But Never Forgotten....

Pet sympathy cards are my least favourite to make. With that being said, I am happy with how this one turned out. It's for a co-worker who lost her kitty quite suddenly. It's never easy, they are family to us. I used the Tim Holtz brick embossing folder, the dies are from Memory Box, and all the cardstock is from SU.

I get so much inspiration from the MFT design team, and in return, MFT gets a lot of money from me! When I saw Karin Akesdotter's card I knew I had to buy 'The Whole Herd'. She gets all the cred for this one, I just recreated it:)

Two Of My Favourite People

I thought I'd share something other than a card for once. This is a recent pic of my nephew Tyler & niece Sydney. They are definitely two of my favourite people. I don't get to see them near enough. Tyler just got a new dirt bike, and well....I think Syd might need a kayak! They're so lucky to live smack in the middle of nature in beautiful B.C.

Kinda Eclectic

I just received this stamp set and couldn't wait to play with it, so of course I went to Pinterest for some inspiration. I think this set will see a lot of ink! Have a great day.

Go Green!

I'm a card angel (via but this week I decided to send my buddy a little something extra. Her bio says that she loves green, birds and junior mints so I think I've covered all my bases. I even found note cards with her initial on them.

I finally ordered the MFT rainbow die, and boy do I love it! The card on the left is for a friend, and the one on the right is for my little chemo angel buddy. Have a great day:)

Faithful Friends

Pet loss cards are always the hardest for me to make, I guess because I'm such an animal lover and have a few of my own. My customer asked for a card to send to her vet clinic as a thank you. She cried when I delivered this to her, so of course I started to cry much as I say I won't, I do...Every. Single. Time. I used a combo of MFT, CTMH and SU supplies.
